Best Pineapple Up-Side Down Cake!

I remember my mom making Pineapple Up-Side down Cake.
I loved it!
I loved the super-sweet and moist topping with it's embedded fruit.
I loved the tender cake.
I loved everything about it!

I have tried many recipes for this classic cake.
None were as perfect as this one.

I kinda feel bad, because it's so easy and it starts with a boxed cake mix!
Try it!
I bet you'll agree, It's the Best I've ever had...
And by far, the easiest!

Best Pineapple Up-Side Down Cake.

  2. Pour butter in a 9x13 pan .

  1. MMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..... mmmmmmmm Yummie.

  2. I have no doubt that this is scrumptious!

  3. Okay, first of all I am drooling all over my computer. My mom made the most amazing pineapple upside down cake too! She did it the hard way, and used a cast-iron skillet!

  4. I've only ever had this once, made by a co-worker at a summer job. I asked her for the recipe the second I took a bite, it was so good. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to make it myself yet... but your photos might make me change that soon! Her recipe also starts with a box ;) Plus 7-Up, I think!

  5. Looks super yummy!Your pictures are mouthwatering!

  6. Looks great! I love pineapple upside down cake!

  7. My hubby loves pineapple upside down cake, but I have never been brave enough to make it! I will be trying your recipe this week!

  8. it is a nice texture but the cake mix has a fake pineapple taste to it :/ i would do the cake batter from scratch if i were you. it is much more natural tasting

  9. She is just giving a simple recipe, not everyone wants to make it from scratch.

  10. Absolutely love pineapple upside down cake; haven't added the pudding mix though, but can imagine the added density and moisture. I add chopped macadamia nuts for the topping (or bottoming... :c)...). gives a little variety in texture and is scrumptious! This has got my mouth watering. I'll have to make it SOON!

  12. yumm looks like some good munchies to me

  13. Making this tomorrow,im drooling over my phone now lol

  15. This is a very good, easy recipe. Love using a cake mix to simplify making this cake. My husband took one to work and people there commented that it was the best pineapple upside down cake they had ever eaten!

  16. Making this today :)

Am making this as we speak (text)! Never made mine with pudding in it but I'm always game for something new!

  18. Making this now! Can't wait!

  19. Thanks for a simple & easy recipe. My cake is in the oven now, I did make a few changes due to not having some ingredients on hand such as I used a box of yellow butter cake mix, also, drained crushed pineapple and I did not use the cherries... didn't have any. I will post back tomorrow and tell you the results. I hope it is as scrumptious as the one pictured.
