Best Pancakes in the World.... EVER!

That's what my family said.
These pancakes are from an old old recipe.
They are just as easy as the pre-bought mix stuff.. and soooo much better!!

Ya gotta try em...
throw in some blueberries.
bananas and walnuts.
apples & cinnamon....
raisins..
or even chocolate chips for something different.
We just made em plain and I quadrupled the batch..
there are none left!!

Don't you wish you had 7 kids (4 of them are 15 year old boys!) at your house??

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 1/4 cups milk
1 egg
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon Vanilla (or to taste)*optional

DIRECTIONS:
1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth.

2. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat.
Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.

Brown on both sides and serve hot.

  7. I think this is the exact recipe I use :) I agree they are the best. I have tried many other recipes and none come even close! We love to put sliced banana and peanut butter chips in ours sometimes.
