Forgotten Kiss Cookies

These cookies are bite-size bits of Heaven!
They call for mini chocolate chips in the dough,
But I live in the boonies and was out of mini chocolate chips.
I had a choice... use mini M&M's or driving to the city to buy the chocolate chips..
M&M's won!
And the Little-Foreman-in-Pink loves the "rainbow" look.

  8. Just curious - why is it "forgotten" kiss?

    - your spoiled rotten, "city girl", little sister

  9. Bethany...
Because, unlike most cookies with kisses, you cannot see the kiss, it's not on top like usual. So... it'd tucked away inside a yummy crisp cookie and forgotten...

That sounds good right? cause I don't know! lol

  15. I made these, chocolate cherry cookies and the maple snickerdoodles, these were the ones they liked the most, though the chocolate cherry were a close second. It probably wasn't fair of me to have 2 chocolate cookies with the maple snickerdoodles, they didn't seem to get touched...I think most will choose a chocolate cookie.
I made these with the mini chocolate chips, I didn't have the m&m, though I like the color of yours better.

  18. Made these cookies for a potluck at work. They were all eaten!!!

I could only get 3 dozen out of the mix and it took me for ever to make them. Definitely will be making these cookies in the future though!

  19. You said the kisses are 'unwrapped'.... Is this right??

  20. Help! I cooked these and the dough fell completely flat, so much so that the kisses ended up just sitting on top of the dough when I pulled them out of the oven. The only variation I did was use salted butter instead of margarine. Is that what caused the dough to lose its shape?

  21. Does anyone remember a chocolate called a Dana Kiss, Melbourne era, 1960s. Chocolate coated, rund biscuit base tapering to a soft peak filled with cream
