White Trash Balls

I posted these wonderfuly easy appetizers on my list of Super Bowl Snacks on Facebook.
So many people wanted to know what they were that I HAD to share.

They are little salty, bits of heaven!
Enjoy!

Dana's White Trash Balls

Ingredients

    • 1 (6 ounce) package sliced pepperoni
    • 1 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
    • 2 (10 1/8 ounce) packages Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Roll dough

Directions

  1. Take out the crescent rolls, and separate into the individual triangles.
  2. Flatten each triangle and slice it so that it becomes three small triangles.
  3. Dice pepperoni into very tiny pieces. (I use my food processor)
  4. Add the pepperoni into the cream cheese, mixing well.
  5. Take a very small spoonful of cream cheese/pepperoni mixture and put it in the middle of one of the crescent rolls triangles.
  6. Pinch up all of the sides around the filling, rolling into a ball.
  7. Repeat and place them all on a cookie sheet.
  8. Bake for the amount of time stated on the crescent rolls (usually 10-13 minutes at 375°F).
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving!
  10. Enjoy!
Tips:
  • Add some Italian seasoning and serve w/ pizza sauce for Pizza White Trash Pockets.
  • Add a little Mozzarella cheese for a gooier cheese center.
  • try adding some black olives, and green onions!
  • use your imagination!

  2. These are awesome! I made these for a girls night in and they were a big hit. I refered to them as pizza poppers so I could keep my trashy-ness in the closet! Thanks for sharing the recipe.

  4. I am most likely having a 'slow' moment, or not synapsing correctly, but how do you cut one triangle into three triangles?

This recipe looks great! Sorry for the dumb question, but like I said, just not synapsing over here, and trying to figure out what you mean.
