  3. I stumbled upon one of your recipes on Pinterest and now I am addicted to your blog. I had to comment on this particular recipe, not because it is something new to me, but because it is the single greatest thing I've ever eaten. I call it Delight instead of Salad though, because calling this a salad is just a cruel joke on my bmi. Thanks for being awesome.

  4. This was heavenly! Here are a few mistakes I made and it turned out fine: 1) forgot to thaw/soften cream cheese and cool whip ahead of time. (used microwave to thaw) 2) forgot to let pretzel layer cool 3) used whole frozen strawberries instead of sliced 4) let the jello sit too long and it firmed up in the bowl (just spooned it over the cream cheese layer). So my point is that this recipe is forgiving if you have a two year old helping!

  5. Question, does the pretzels stay crunchie or do they get soft? I have not tried this recipe but have others and I can't seem to keep the crunch to the pretzels.

  6. So for those of you that have never had this recipe, this is a winner. My Mom has been making this for us for years and now it's my brother's birthday request recipe every year and he is now 34. This recipe rocks my world. Thanks for sharing.

  7. Oh, my gosh! I have been making this for over 30 years as well! This is one of our family's favorites! In fact, they get mad if I don't make it, especially at Christmas time! I think I have given away this recipe more than any others.

One hint on the pretzels for those who've never made it: don't use the skinny pretzel sticks. They don't work. Use regular dark pretzels. But don't pulverize them in the blender. So happy to see someone sharing this!
