Fudge Crinkles. Quite possibly the easiest cookie ever!

I almost forgot about these little gems!
Believe it or not, there are only 4 ingredients in this recipe!
These cookies have been around forever, I'm not sure where the original recipe comes from.

They are so yummy!
And, I'd be willing to bet you have everything you need to make them in your pantry right now!

This recipe has saved my behind more than once when a kid remembers at the very last moment that they needed to bring a snack for the class at school.
You can throw them together in under 10 minutes!

Fudge Crinkles

1 (18 1/4 ounce) box devil's food cake mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
confectioners' sugar for rolling

  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. Stir dry cake mix, oil and eggs in a large bowl until dough forms.
  3. Dust hands with confectioners' sugar and shape dough into 1" balls.
  4. Roll balls in confectioners' sugar and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until center is JUST SET.
  6. Remove from pans after a minute or so and cool on wire racks.
  7. Enjoy!!

Oh!! I so almost forgot!!

  1. OMG!

These looked so good, I had to stop dropping EC's and go make them. So yummy!

You know that you are ruining my diet, don't you? But they are so worth it.

I have a similar recipe to these to make Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies that I will be posting on my blog today.

Keep the recipes coming, my kids love em!

  2. Fact: Your little sister does not have the ingredients for this recipe in her pantry.

Fact: She does NOT keep boxed cake mix on hand! because (a) she prefers to make a cake from scratch and (b) she can't keep them in the house unless she's in the process of making a cake because then she'll MAKE a cake.

  6. I use almost the same think to make my cookies like this but I only use one egg and substitute the oil for a tube of whip topping ( I use fat free so I can eat more cookies and they turn out just as good as the others) It is also helpful to get an extra moist cake mix. I tried the same recipe with red velvet and other types of cake mix and they are really good.

  8. This cookie recipe is great. I love the simplicity of it for when you need something quick. I have to agree that it makes temptation a little more irresistible because I do tend to have those items on hand.

I wanted to also invite you and your readers to enter my Valentine Ideas contest with your recipes and gift ideas. There are some yummy prizes for the winners.

    Blessings,
    Angie
